Project — Installation of Daikin Split Air Conditioning Systems
Year — 2020
Working directly with the end client to ensure that those emergency service frontline personnel are comfortable whilst at Fire & Rescue base, ready to attend any emergency call at the drop of a hat.
This project saw Closewood working directly with fire and rescue personnel to ensure that their specific requirements were met. The project consisted of the installation of Mitsubishi Electric split systems to various areas of the building. The duration of the project was 5 days which included all installation work and commissioning of air conditioning systems and associated electrical supplies.
Whilst working within live areas there was always the potential of an emergency call at any time. Communication and planning were key to avoid hindering any such call, the Closewood engineers soon became accustomed to the alarm call going up and the blue flashing lights.
Having such a close working relationship saw fire personnel assisting Closewood with lifting condensing units into place whilst using it as part of their training exercise - working in partnership at its best.
Another project completed with no impact on the client and a real pleasure to have helped one of our emergency services benefit from temperature controlled and conditioned working and rest space.
