The countdown is on for these two who will be starting their fundraising challenge this Friday! We are on a mission to reach our target and are so close to getting there. Therefore, we are on the final push to raise the funds before they go.
As you can see, they have been braving all elements in preparation and will be going from one extreme to the humid conditions of Cambodia. So lets spur them on and help reach the target before they board that plane to give them all the encouragement they need.
The practice ride involved in the image above was a mammoth 27 miles (evidence below!). Now that’s impressive for a Sunday, let alone the 375km they will be completing next week.
As you may be aware, we have been raising funds in the run up to this trip for a little while and now it’s finally here, we are very grateful for all the support that has been received so far.
This is a disease that touches so many and we want to help be part of beating Cancer once and for all. Cancer Research is a major charity in the UK and as individuals and a business, want to give something back for the excellent work they do. Understanding the causes of different cancers and preventing more cases could save many thousands of lives.
As you may be aware by now, the challenge will see Managing Director, Dean Kirby, and Electrical Project Manager, Paul Cross, exploring ancient cities, riding past waterways, rice fields and cycling deep into the heart of ancient Cambodia. Which all sounds lovely. But there is a catch – it all has to be done in 6 days, by bike, across unpaved, dusty, busy roads in high heat and humidity. But it wouldn’t be a fundraiser without a challenge – so come Friday, here they go!
So let’s see 375km worth of donations! We would really appreciate any help you can give.
We have a number of ways you can help us raise money – if you wish to donate, please go to our Giving Page. We are also running a prize draw on there where you could win a Bentley Continental GT courtesy of Harwoods. Details of how to enter and t’s & c’s are detailed on the page. If this does not take your fancy, please make a generous donation and show your support.
We hope you can help us reach our monster target of £10,000 and check in on our website and Linkedin for updates on the monster of a challenge!
