Celebrating Joe Easton's 10 Years of Service

Celebrating Joe Easton’s 10 Years of Service

Posted 2 years ago in Company News

This year seems to be going past really quickly but for one of our team, the past 10 years have flashed by!

In 2007 the Kaiser Chiefs were about to have a number one with Ruby, Gordon Brown was about to replace Tony Blair and Closewood had a new trainee – Joe Easton.

A decade later we’re congratulating Joe for his hard work and dedication with a certificate of achievement and a celebration cake.

Looking back over the years Joe said: “A lot of things stand out for me but I think that passing my NVQ stands out the most, This was a great achievement.”

“There are many things I enjoy about working for Closewood, but most of all I like working in such a friendly environment. It feels like we are all part of a close knit family.”

For managing Director Dean Kirby the feeling is mutual: “It has been a pleasure working with Joe over the past 10 years. Joe has established himself as a well-respected engineer which can prove to be difficult when you have come up through the ranks from a trainee.”

“Joe has taken on board advice that he has been offered and has always been willing to learn and undertake formal training. Has achieved formal qualifications within air conditioning & refrigeration along with numerous manufacturers training and health & safety certificates.”

“We are well aware of Joe’s ambitions and are very happy with his career progression, and will assist him in hitting those goals and achievements.”

Joe also has a great sense of humour and when asked what he would say to the Joe of ten years ago it was: “Put the kettle on!” as well as, “listen and learn as much as possible.”

If you know someone looking for a long term career with prospects then please contact the Closewood team for an introduction to the company.
